I'm Kerri Wilson, luxury travel advisor and founder of Kerri'd Away Travel. I plan trips for adventurous, curious, and discerning travelers who want to come home feeling like they truly got to know a destination — its people, its heritage, its hidden corners that no algorithm will ever recommend.

From Cancun, 1991 to the World
My love affair with travel started in 1991 — my high school graduation trip to Cancun. That first trip outside the United States planted a seed that never stopped growing.
In college, I turned that passion into purpose, working for USA Student Travel and chaperoning high school graduates on their senior trips. I was barely older than the students I was leading, but I was already hooked on the transformative power of seeing the world.
"The trip that still stands out most was a drive along the Romantic Road in Germany. We stumbled upon a small hotel built directly into the wall of the medieval walled city of Rothenburg. Our room had sweeping views over the German countryside — and it was the least expensive room of the entire trip."
That moment crystallized everything I believe about travel. The magic is rarely where you expect it. It's not about the price of the room. It's about the quality of the experience — and having someone who knows where to find it.
